Ok, I know the World Cup and Euro Cup. The UEFA Champions League is every year correct?Is the UEFA Cup every year as well? What is the difference?

If you don’t get into the Champions League you can still get into the UEFA. UEFA is not as prestigious as the Champions league, hence Scottish teams being beaten in the final of UEFA cup by a unknown Russian side, rather than seeing the greatest team in the world in the Champions league.
