Ooooooooooooo induction tomorrow! I have to watch a health and safety video and be tested on it, then I have to walk around the store and locate the fire extinguishers, fire escapes, first aid box and accident book…………..sounds like I’m in for a fun day!

Hmmmmmmmmmm had my first day of till training, would have been ok if I was just doing sales but I’m doing returns too, horrible, horrible, horrible! The woman that was training me can’t believe they have put me on customer services when I’ve never used a till before….she says no-one does that, you usually have to have till experience…..so I’ve been totally dropped in the deep end She thought I did very well though….even left me on my own for a while, which was scary as hell!

Keep your head up! Keep confident, and tell yourself you can do it. Everyone has to learn something sometime. Even will till experience, these people had to learn it somewhere.

Till = Cash register, check out, whatever you guys call it…the place where you pay…or in the case of the till where I work, the place where you return something to get an exchange or refund. I have to do sales (which is dead easy), returns, exchanges, answer the phone, re-hang all returned items and god only knows what else.

You can learn the cash register. People have to learn it sometime.
