I almost invariably take a break. I mean look, he says "It's getting old". It should be fun, so take a small break, a few days or maybe a week. I've been there many times, I don't like starting a session thinking about "what bad things will happen tonight, how many times will I get rivered, who will go runner-runner on me this time?". Plus, when you're running bad, you get no respect, your bets get no respect, so it's just a vicious cycle. I usually take a break, catch up on poker blogs, read poker forums, get my head on straight again and feel refreshed and confident at that next session.
