Value Betting the High in Omaha Hi/Lo

Remember that you are likely to need the nut hand or close to it to win in Omaha, you can’t rely on the usual Texas Holdem hands. Therefore, betting the non-nut flush for value is usually a mistake. However, if you feel fairly confident that both of your opponents are going for low and you have a very strong high hand, you may want to throw out a value bet.
